Bring your dog!

I am a huge dog person and always welcome dogs to my photo shoots. If bringing your dog, please keep them on a leash. Plan to bring something to clean up after them, and a treat or toy to help keep their attention.
I also require you to bring a family member or friend along to hold the dog when we are no longer using them for photos.

How do I book?

1. Message me to inquire with a date, time + desired package.
2. I'll send you an electronic contract to sign via email.
3. Pay a 50% retainer to reserve your date and time.

What should we wear?

I always tell people to color coordinate without completely matching. Avoid heavy patterns, and clothing with logos or words on them. I want you to feel like yourself, so whatever outfit makes you feel happy and confident, wear it! I'd be happy to send you some color pallet options if you're stuck on a color scheme!

What should we bring with us?

If you're bringing kids, I always recommend bringing a snack or toy to help keep their focus, or reward them for when we're finished. I typically bring a blanket with me for you to sit on, but if you want to bring your own you're welcome! Otherwise, just bring the second half of your payment if it hasn't been paid yet.

Where should we take our photos?

If you have any location ideas, I'd love to hear them! If you're not sure where we should go, just let me know if you want a nature, city or beach location and I'll put some ideas together. If your location idea is 30+ miles from my home, there may be a travel fee. Talk to me for a custom rate.

Tips for a successful session with kids?

Plan on timing the session around naps and eating schedules. Bring a snack and drink for them so they can take a little break if they get grumpy during a session. Bring a favorite toy to make them feel more comfortable (one that you might not mind being in your photos since they might want to hold onto it). Talk to them about the photo shoot the week leading up to it so they may be excited about it instead of nervous. Also, a little bribery never hurt anyone.. ;)
